INDIGENOUS WOMEN - Values from diversity - page 9

We are invisible to society,
the states and statistics; our
rights are not recognized,
neither respected; we live
in conflicts and wars for the
natural resources in our
territories, the ones with the
highest biodiversity on the
planet; we are displaced from
our land; we have the highest
mortality and illiteracy rates…
A common problem we as
indigenous women confront
at any age is VIOLENCE.
Structural violence, domestic
violence, ecological
violence…

WE LIVE VERY
ADVERSE CIRCUMSTANCES
in all regions of the world because of the imposition of a development model that does not respect,
neither recognize our rights, impoverishes us and damages our territories.
