assist to neither speak
out in the community’s
meetings. Today their
participation is necessary
and they develop their
Action Plan that is
supported by the Local
Government. They have
achieved a complete and
effective participation that
have a representative in
the Local Government.

We are women from different
ethnic groups, mainly basogas
from the Busalamu village,
associated to
empower ourselves.
We encourage women to
participate in the assemblies,
to make their voice heard,
we work with the girls in the
families for them to learn from
little to share their thoughts in
family meetings, and with the
boys, so they learn to share
domestic tasks with the girls
